  • caulking gun 2034-122
  • scissors 4464-323
  • drill 1239-121
  • clamps (4) 1022-627

Material

  • 1 x 4 pine (90′)
  • 1 1/4″ screws (36)
  • construction adhesive 2030-475
  • hinges (6) 2408-102
  • stencil: shown Peony 1682-702
  • paint: shown Beauti-Tone exterior latex flat black 1835-447
  • deckALL mesh skirting: shown cedar tone 2610-231
  • spray adhesive 2020-075
  • foam roller kit 1656-407

Here’s How

  1. Cut mesh to desired size for three panels.
  2. Stencil one side of mesh with the Peony stencil.
  3. Spray the back of stencil with spray adhesive and position it at the top, middle section of the mesh.
  4. Use a dry roll technique with a foam roller. To dry roll, roll the roller in paint and remove most of the paint by rolling on paper towels, then lightly roller over stencil.
  5. Reposition stencil, and repeat until each mesh panel is covered.
  6. Lay two “B” pieces of wood between two “A” pieces of wood and clamp.
  7. Stretch and staple a mesh panel in place.
  8. Apply a bead of construction adhesive on top of mesh and frame. • Overlay the front frame pieces. Drill and fasten with screws.
  9. Repeat the process for the other two panels.
  10. Attach three hinges on each panel so panels swing in opposite directions.
  11. Finish frames as desired.
